Our Natural Lip Balm Tins are made with Natural ingredients to leave your lips silky soft. Made from Sweet Almond Oil, that is high fatty acid content, almond oil can easily penetrate your lips’ gaps to help hydrate and seal in moisture. Its vitamin E concentration is also excellent for keeping the lips supple and smooth. The elements that can cause dark skin, chapped lips and cracked skin can be protected by the use of almond oil Calendula Oil is a texturizing property as well as its ability to create barriers between the skin and harsh environmental stressors makes it a valuable ingredient in products such as lip balms.

We have steered clear of synthetic wax and petroleum jelly which are in many commercial lip balms and are no good for your lips. We use Candelilla Wax instead, which is also Vegan. The product is in a plastic free tin and is cruelty free.

Ingredients:

• Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is deeply moisturizing and helps to lock in moisture, keeping your lips soft and hydrated. It also has antimicrobial properties that can protect your lips from bacteria.
• Shea Butter: Shea butter is rich in vitamins and fatty acids that nourish and soothe the lips. It provides long-lasting moisture and helps to repair dry, chapped lips.
• Beeswax: Beeswax acts as a natural emollient, forming a protective barrier on the lips to lock in moisture and prevent moisture loss. It also gives the lip balm its solid texture.
• Pineapple Flavor Oil or Pineapple Extract: Pineapple flavor oil or extract adds the refreshing scent of pineapple to the lip balm, giving it a tropical twist.
• Vitamin E Oil: Vitamin E oil is a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect the lips from free radical damage and promote skin repair.

Instructions:

• Measurements: In a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, melt together the following ingredients:
• 2 tablespoons (30ml) Coconut Oil
• 2 tablespoons (30ml) Shea Butter
• 1 tablespoon (15ml) Beeswax
• Mixing: Once the ingredients are melted and well combined, remove the mixture from heat. Allow it to cool slightly before adding:
• 10-15 drops of Pineapple Flavor Oil or 1/2 teaspoon of Pineapple Extract
• 5-10 drops of Vitamin E Oil
• Pouring: Carefully pour the melted mixture into clean, empty lip balm containers. Fill each container to the top and allow it to cool and solidify.
• Storage: Once solidified, cap the lip balm containers tightly and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Application: To use the lip balm, simply apply it to your lips as needed throughout the day for moisturized and pineapple-scented lips.
